I have got a new table & you get a set of rules from the manafacturers. But also found way to many rules on Wikipedia.The main ones you will want are: 8 ball - 9 ball - snooker - billiards.

if you mean swimming pool then play a game called silence it is where so,eome gets out of the pool and everyone else tries to get to the other side of the pool without the person whos it knowing to get someone it you have to tag them everytime the person whos it looks and no one is off they move up a step i hope this is wat u were looking for
