  1. Homoeopathy has good remedies like 1]berb vul 30    2] calc c.30    3] card m.30   4]chionanth  q   5] cinch  30   6] hydr   7]  nux v 30..etc

Better you use these under expert  supervision.. At the onset you may try chionanth  q    - drops  : 3 drops per day. for 15 days.     contact:   vnmatranjan@yahoo.com for more advice.

  2. Natural?  No.  My boyfriend had surgery last year - he had to have his gallbladder taken out because of how bad his pain was.  He was released the same day, and recovery was fairly quick.  Apparently, this surgery is quite common, more so with women.  It is also hereditary -- or at least it can be.

If the pain isn't bad, then it's probably wise to go see your doctor so to catch anything now and get it treated before it bursts or gets infected.  My boyfriend's bursted as they removed it because it was so inflamed, but that's common as well -- if you let it go too long.  His cousin had her's removed when she was fifteen and was fine.  They gave her the stones, which looked like little rocks!  "Better out than in" I always say.

Overall, stay away from fatty and spicy foods, as they can aggravate it.  Also try to steer clear of alcohol, grease -- anything fried, etc.  Especially NO peanuts, that seems to make a lot of people with gallbladder issues sick.

Go see a doctor so you can get it fixed.  It's a minor surgery (you might not even need it), Good Luck and Hang in There!

  3. There are lots of "natural remedies" available.

    Unfortunately none of them work.

Since Alties like anecdotal evidence so much...here's an anecdote for you.

I have a patient who came to see me just over a year ago with what sounded like gall bladder attacks. An ultrasound confirmed several large stones.  I gave him the usual dietary advice. (low fat, hi fibre, smaller meals)   He declined a referal to a surgeon. He decided to go see a naturopath and follow their advice to naturally dissolve his stones.  (The dietary advice given was the same as mine, FYI)

Recently he came back and told me he was "cured", because he hadn't had another major attack since he'd been to see the naturopath.  He did concede there'd been some minor ones.  We did another ultrasound that showed his gallstones had actually increased in number and size, and there were signs of thickening and scarring on his gallbladder.  About a month later her showed up in the ER with acute cholecystitis and ascending cholangitis, (a life threatening infection of the gallbladder)  and ended up having an emergency cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal) and is now doing fine

So in summary...while a very low fat and strict diet can reduce the frequency and severity of attacks, there is nothing that can actually dissolve gallstones.  Medical science has tried numerous things...none worked.
