  1. When paddling to catch a wave instead of popping up to standing, try popping up to one knee, gain your balance and then stand. Also when learning, practice in shallow white water, than move out further into bigger waves. Good Luck!

  2. Don't fall!  :)

  3. Check out this website. Trust me it's good.

    http://www.surfline.com/surfology/surfol...

  4. Be careful  (watch out for SHARKS)   No really, they see that surfboard from below and they think it's a seal or something,  so you really need to be careful.

  5. Use "s*x Wax" on your board. May be better stuff to use, but, it has a good name.

    Do not tie a rope to your ankle and board.

    Start with some smaller waves, but, large enough to move you. I would try 5 footers first.

    Your position on the board will change how it move, keep the nose up and get a feel of your balance and different positions.

    Stay away from others until you get the "feel of the heel"

    If, you crash; try to wash to shore close to pretty chicks and play hurt or dead. Oh! And stay away from the Board best you can.

    That about all I can tell you.

  6. YEAH TRY NOT TO GET BIT BY SHARKS.... THEY DON'T DISCRIMINATE.. LOL ;-)

  7. don't crash.

  8. dont surf near sharks, especially if you just bathed in A-1 steak sauce or pig's blood.

    do NOT wear black wetsuits. you look like a seal.

    seal = lunch to sharks.
