Does anyone know any tricks to making a room smell good?I hate buying those plugins cause they don't work.

I love to have my house smell fresh and clean.I love to buy the Glade Plugins but they just don't last and I am tired of spending the money on them.I was just wondering if anyone knew what I could do to make my house smell good without having to buy them.Thanks for your help.

Candles and reed diffusers. I sell them for PartyLite and our candles are clean burning,smell good and are FDA approved yes they are edible. And our diffusers last longer then store bought ones and are all oils not oils and alcohol based. Contact me if you want more info on them.

You can boil water and add lemon leaves or orange leaves. Snap the leaves so the natural oil will come out.

Other things that work:

Herbs, basil.

If you have a cologne you like this will also work.

I buy several different of my favorite essential oils and sprinkle a few drops on my AC filter. Your house may still smell of your plug-ins. We get used to the smells and no longer smell them ourselves. The only time I can smell what's on my filters is when I've been out of the house ALL day, then sometimes when I come in I can smell it again.

In my house we use Renuzit TriScents.  It has three different scents that it switches between often.  Whenever it switches you can't help but breathe in and say "ahhh".  One bad thing though is the scent doesn't travel very far but we like to put ours near our front door so you get a nice scent as you walk in.

I watched how clean is your house once and they recommended rubbing a little fragrance oil (the type you put in an oil burner) on your light bulbs every other day and the low heat will evaporate the oil for a lovely fresh smell, but only at night, for the day put some pot puree in a bowl.
