  1. Depends what skills you have.  I'm a single mother of two teenagers.  I used to sell stuff on ebay, but got a bit fed up running backwards and forwards to the post office all the time.  I now have two jobs - one in an office and the other one I do from home.  I've discovered you can be a virtual assistant - if you can type, then you can certainly get a VA job.  It's all done by email.

Edit:  kana121569 - there are most definitely some great work from home jobs if you care to look.  It's a growing industry in fact.  I have more work to do from home than I can handle.  Get your facts straight before you start making negative comments to someone who's only asking for a few ideas.

  2. ebay!

  3. Teach English and a foreign language to immigrants

Teach Piano, Guitar or other instrument if you can play one

Do baby sitting, child minding - nanny?

Stuff envelopes or do home work... like I used to put the pins into these clips that ended up as Computer plugs... boring but easy whilst watching the TV.

Make cookies, buns, cakes, meals and sell them online as delivered to the door for old people, disabled people etc.

Be a home help for a disabled person

Be a personal shopper.. do errands for old folks, or people in the area.

  4. i sold on ebay when i was pregnant and on maternity leave. i started with baby clothes (from an older sibling) and was quickly making almost $1000 a month! i went from selling my kids' clothes to buying at garage sales and thrift stores. you can buy cute stuff for $1.50 and sometimes turn it around for $20! it was easy and light to ship and i almost always got to do business with other moms. good luck! (oh, and congratulations!!!)

  5. if you have a degree/skills in fields like computers, software, etc. jobs that can be done at home, you can search places like monster.com, indeed.com, etc.

if not, you can maybe babysit?

i remember my mom babysat when she was pregnant with my brother since she had to go on maternity leave at her regular job.

  6. I am a member of motivated moms which is a great way to make a little extra money. I know of some people who have built a complete career out of it. If you would like more information, please send me a message.

  7. Sorry, but very few people will hire you when you are 35 weeks pg.  Legally they can't tell you that that is the reason, but unless you have some very impressive skills or training then you might have to wait until after the baby is born.  It would be silly for them to hire you only to have to pay your medical bills and be without you for 12 weeks while still paying your wages.  You choose your lifestyle so don't look for it to be easy.  You should have thought of all of this before you married that guy and the baby should have waited until you were more stable.  Go on welfare like all the other people in this world that don't take responsibility for their futures.

No, there are no good work from home jobs.  Do you think most of us hard workers would leave our homes everyday if there were?
