Does anyone know any websites for volunteering?

My boyfriend and I are going to start volunteering but we have no idea where to even start looking? Is there any type of website where I can find this info? We live in Winchester, VA if that helps any.

You can also decide where you want to volunteer as in a country or a city and then Google it

For example type in:

volunteer work in India

There are usually lots of results.

I have personally visited and met with a wonderful small grassroots group in Kanchipuram, Southern India. They are honest and reliable.
