Does anyone know anything about Accordions?

So I've got this old accordion - it seems to have some problems. When opened it makes a huge accordion noise like all the notes are being played at once. However, none of the keys or buttons are noticeably stuck. I can't seem to find a repair person where I live.

What could be wrong with it?

Is it worth trying to get someone to fix it, or should I just sell it on ebay for cheap and look for a working one?

It will make a sound anyway....press on a few keys and the tone should change....

Has it been packed away for a long time?

If so the bellows could be sticking- try pulling it open and closed and hit the buttons (not the keyboard) do this a few times, if this doesn't work leave it open fully for a few days and then give it a try.
