Does anyone know anything about Amoxicillin and is it possible to bond a amino acid like Glycine to a phenol?

I am looking in the manufacture and use of antibiotics (amoxicillin) for biology, which one stage seems to include an animo acid (glycine) bonding to a phenol group to form the antibiotic, which inturn inhibits the production of peptidoglycan in bacteria cell walls.
