Does anyone know anything about German toy trains?

I have a tiny (bronze?) replica of a train engine. It's mounted on a small block of wood with the words "7.Int.Wandertag 1990 in Titisee/Neustadt." Can anyone tell me anything about this? Or maybe someone knows of a website where I might find info.

  1. Try this link to this website and I hope it does the trick.http://www.ministeam.com/acatalog/Trains...

  2. Try this -it's in German and it does not look as if it has much to do with trains, more like hiking.

    http://www.wanderfreunde-titisee-neustad...

  3. Here is my translation:

"7." means 7th (Siebten, in German)

"Int." is an abbreviation of International

    "Wandertag" means "Walking Day"

"Titisee-Neustadt" is a town in Baden-Württemberg, a province in southern Germany

So, your little train was discerned on the 7th International Walking Day in 1990 in the town of Titisee-Neustadt.

    Hope this has helped,

    S.O.
