I'm skating on Nike Quest 1's right now but its about time to get new skates. I've been playing for 16 years or so (highest level Junior A). I'm a forward, good skater, and I know nothing about these skate but for some reason they look really intriguing to me.

  1. Scott, did you get them baked?

It's a lot safer to go with a major brand. Go to a pro shop and try on CCMs, Bauers, Eastons and RBKs. get the brand that fits you best and the best skate you can afford in that brand. Expect to spend at least around 300 for a decent pair.

by the way, the only skate on the market that will perfectly mold to your foot is the One 95. The composite boot will actually change shape. The rest are just heat moldable foam.

And don't buy just on brand. Make sure you try them on, different brands fit differently.

  2. from what the videos and website say, they seem to mold perfectly to a persons foot. i should have looked at those before buying my one75s since they're still killing my feet after about 10 skates.

jeff: i did get them baked and i have superfeet with them. im probably gonna get them rebaked just to be safe. its probably also because im not used to wearing a stiff boot coming from a graf skate.
