  1. Kinabalu's answer has a few wrong parts... mainly, Trinidad does not consist of 23 islands... Trinidad is one of two islands, its bigger and more recognized than its smaller island Tobago. the beaches arent that white either because its a volcanic island, it has a pitch lake which is kinda like oil, its a volcanic island also, therefore its beaches arent as white as Barbados's as barbados was formed from coral. Anyway its a racial melting pot and has alot of stuff to do and see... I'm always over there, I'm from the Caribbean, lived there all my life.

  2. The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is located in the souther caribbean. T&T are the southern most islands in the caribbean chain. The country consists of 23 islands (Trinidad, Tobago, and 21 smaller islands). Here is a website that has the names of these islands: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islands_of_...

Trinidad and Tobago is a Parlimantary Democracy. The current Prime Minister is Patrick Manning, and the current President is George Maxwell Richards. Elections are held every five years. Parliament consists of the Senate (31 Senators) and the House of Representatives (41 elected MP's). The current ruling party is the PNM (Peoples National Movement), and the official opposition party is the UNC-A (United National Congress-Alliance).

Trinbago's economy is based on natural gas and oil. Trinbago supplies the US with 70% of thie LNG imports, and is also the largest exporter of ammonia in the world. Trinidad is also a leading exporter of asphalt, because Trinidad has the largest of three pitch lakes in the world.

Trinbago has a rich culture, and vibrant people. It is one of the mouse beautiful countries on earth!!!

  3. 'Trinidad' is Spanish for Trinity, and has a Spanish name because there is a large Spanish population there.

Trinidad, surprisingly, is only one of the 23 islands that make up the whole country, Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad is also the largest of these 23 islands.

Trinidad is the southernmost Caribbean island located in the Lesser Antillies, it's neighboring countries being Venezuela, Grenada, and slightly further, Guyana and Barbados. Trinidad is also the sixth largest island in the West Indies, (based on KM²), behind Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Bahamas (overall the Bahamas are larger even though the individual islands are smaller).

Trinidad, being a typical Tropical island, enjoys an average temperature of 28 degrees c. There is a wet season from June to October.

Trinidad is popular for its white sandy beaches, palm trees, clear blue water, bright orange sunsets, and warm-hearted, laid-back people.

Splashing about in the Southern Caribbean ocean while sipping Margaritas, with the palms swaying in the gentle atlantic breeze... Your dad is very lucky.

If that doesn't make you want to go, nothing will :) hope I've helped.
