Does anyone know anything about ancient greek honey and sesame fritters?

for english we have to make an ancient greek food and write a 125 word essay about the food we make. does anyone know anything about the history of the food, or have a link to a website about it? thanks for your help!

  2. First of all I don't know what fritters are. Secondly there is a greek sweet made by honey and sesame, pasteli. I don't know if it was part of the ancient greek cuisine.

    Moreover, there is a very famous ancient greek dish, called "melas zomos" (black soup or black juice), eaten by spartan soldiers. One of its ingredients was blood.
