Does anyone know anything about making an online shop?

Question

My friend is a very gifted clairvoyant, she has given me a dozen or so readings. Since having her daughter she is unable to share her gift, so i suggested her selling her gift online. Many others seem to be doing it at a good profit and some of them have no ability at all. I've been working on her website for three days and i just seem to have trouble lining up the 'buy it now' paypal icons. I don't know what I am doing wrong, can anyone help me please?

Yes i do, first you need the business plan this should inc:

-Name, fiances, projected turnover to profit

-Daily tasks

-Service & suppliers you will need

-Brand name & web domain

You will need web hosting i would use Venda mainly because they have amazing services inc web design and building inc paypal tools intergrated for free set-up. You pay a percentage of taking to them for their services. Also try Volusion, eclipse and ekmpowershop.

You will need to advertise on the net to get visiters try:

-Sumbit to directories

-Submit to search engines

-Promote using articles and distrbute to free press release sites and  

article submission websites.

Recommend instead of using Geocities, you can create a free website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officeliveoffer . It has a free online web design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. Currently, MS is offering a free domain name (i.e. yourstore.com) for the first year - important if you want to make your website professional. I would suggest getting the Store Manager add-on to add an online store - setting up is much easier than doing it on your own with Paypal buttons, etc.
