  1. Physical anthropology is about the physical and evolutionary (genetic) characteristics that distinguish different groups of human beings. It's pretty cool stuff, but one of the most science intensive anthropology courses you can take as an undergrad. You'll learn about blood typing, genetic variations in different populations, the effects of isolation of populations on the morphology (shape and physical characteristics) of the body, stuff like that.

It's been too many years since I took my anthropology courses, so I'm sure there's much new information in the realm of genetics, but if it's an undergrad course, you'll probably not have to learn much more than the simple genetics stuff.

    Good luck and enjoy.

  2. Compared to biology and genetics introductory classes it is " a piece of cake. " You are only presented with the superfluities and the rigor is light. Very little, if any math.

  3. avramj98  is right. There is a lot about blood and genes and evolution. Also vitamin D and anemia deficiency. I was lucky my school has a professor who really makes this stuff interesting and fun. He is one of the most well liked prof. in the department.  But don't think of it as a hard class. It really is simple if you pay attention ask questions and keep up on your readings.
