  1. Tasmania in Australia has some of the best Lavender farms in the World, and they can be very lucrative if you can get a good market for them. It's best to get professional advice as to the best climate ,soil, & marketing. I believe it is rather easy to grow.


  2. Lavender is not very highly wanted for many products, but some perfumes and candles use it. They could be some money involved

  3. There is surely a market for lavender somewhere. It can be grown as a perennial and marketed in the nursery trade, or it can be grown as a specialty herb (dried, fresh or potted). As a specialty crop, the market may be too small to sustain it as a "stand-alone" crop. Most farms would grow it together with other plants (other herbs or perennials depending on your target market) to make the business more viable.
