  1. Kefir is good to take.

  2. Yogurt doesn't have enough probiotics in it, and it's usually filled with sugar, which makes candida (yeast overgrowth) worse.

With a probiotic, definitely take one with Lactobacillus Acidophilus in it.  This is the type of friendly bacteria that lives in the small intestine and v****a.

Also, the best strain is DDS-1 Acidophilus (best quality).  It's also helpful if it has FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides), which support growth of friendly bacteria.

If you can find the Innovite brand at health stores, they are pretty good quality.

I believe you can also get some probiotic vaginal supplements.  You insert them to replenish the bacteria.  I got free samples from my doctor when I went for a similar problem.  I'm not sure if it's OTC...

    Hope this helps!

  3. well I recently did a science project on bacteria in yogurt (good bacteria) and la yogurt had the most probiotics. there is also probiotic yogurt. yogurt is excellent. it can also help lower cholesterol and help prevent breast cancer. I also got 1st place on the science project (I don't noe if that helps enhance your desicion)

    hope I helped!

  4. I use bifidophilus flora force and it is great! I use it for upset stomaches and for eczema on my children. I order this from my web site at www.mynsp.com/jeniferharrod check it out whenever you want or write me a note about whatever concerns you are having in this area.
