people to people student ambassadors........and if so can you please tell me how you can find out who elected you for it.........thank you

Hi! I have a little bit of experience with the student ambassadors program and hope this helps you out:

in order to be "elected" for the program, your teachers have to nominate you. I didn't really ask any of my teachers to nominate me for the program, but was nominated throughout middle school and high school. I am certain that they pick students who have pretty good GPAs, are mature, people who get along well with others, and of course- students who have an interest in the program and world travel itself. I honestly dont think it would hurt to let your teachers know that you are interested in the program, and you could even ask them to nominate you if they haven't picked a student already.  Once you get elected though, the student Ambassador  program begins long before your departure. Before your trip with the People to People  Student Ambassador Program, you and your family will have to attend manddatory six two-hour orientation meetings to prepare you for your journey. These meetings will help you and your family Meet and the people who you will be going on the trip with and the people in charge of the program, Learn about the culture and history of your destinations,Find out exactly what you need to pack for the trip,Review all air and land travel details ,Answer any other questions you and your family may have about the program.

The people to people student ambassadors program has designed tours for students from grade school,  middle +  high school levels
