Okay I have a myspace page and I got this message that my profile picture was put onto this website. I thought okay, I'll check it out then but well it felt fishy, like my virus senses were going crazy, lol. But yeah in these situations, I usually type the website into google then like my McAfee thing would have either a green, yellow, or red checkmark next to the website name. But when I did that, it looked like it was about to take me to google images but then this computerized voice came up, I forgot what it said because it was freaky, and I guess you have to sign up to see your pictures, and I thought, "On google images?"

Yeah that's my story. So did that happen to any of you guys? Or would anyone want to check it out? But it might attack your computer. Or at least your email inbox, heehee.

I wouldn't ask such a favor, but it seems McAfee doesn't even know about it :P

  1. It is another one of those places that tries to steal your MySpace info or some other form of info. If you have any anti-virus and anti-spyware software I suggest you do a scan with this as something might have gotten onto your computer from the site as it has happened to me when testing out similar sites. It is a fake so just report the email and whatnot. If you don't have any anti-virus and anti-spyware protection here is a list of some recommended ones:

    -McAfee 12 in 1 Security Center (anti-virus)

or AVG if you want a free program

    -Spyware Doctor with AV (anti-spyware)

or Spybot S&D if you want a free program

    -PC Tools Firewall Plus(free) (firewall)

    -ThreatFire(free) (added virus protection)

-CCleaner(keep computer running pretty good, cleans up history and whatnot)

    -Firefox(safe browser)

All of the above programs(aside Spybot and AVG) I use and have been using for a very long time now, all with fantastic results. For AVG and Spybot they are both good in the way of free protection but McAfee and Spyware Doctor are recommended.
