If I am applying for DSP do I need to see a Job Capacity Assesor even though they have records of my disability

  1. Unfortunatly you do. I applied for the DSP and had to see a Job Capacity Assesor even though they had 2 years of medical certificates and a current one. It all depends on what your disability is and how much it rates on there scale, as they have a 1-5 scale that rates how bad the certain disability is and thats pretty much how they work out if THEY deem you disabled enough (which pretty much sucks). Fill out all your forms and hand them back in and they will send you a letter telling you an appointment time if you need to see a JCA.
