Does anyone know anything about the Name KILFROY?

I am looking for a JUDITH KILFROY dob app 1787 who married a PATRICK MCNALLY from ROSCOMMON ireland. He deserted the british army in canada in 1810-1812 and was transported to Australia for life. Judith sailed to Aust also. But I have searched high and low for KILFROY . Irish ? Canadian ? Nova Scotian ? Newfoundlandish ? Who was this girl ?

Where did you come across the name?  Was it handwritten or typed?  If it was typed, I am willing to bet it is a typo.  It is easy to accidentally hit F when aiming for the R.  Kilroy is a much more common name.

kilroy is Irish but depending on how many teeth one had ..it could have been heard and documented wrong
