Does anyone know anything about the weapons on RAN ships during the Vietnam War?

I need info on the 4.5 inch shells on Royal Australian Navy ships used in the Vietnam War. I am doing a report at school, and any information would be great thanks. Thanks everybody.

I suggest you try the Internet. Do a Google search on the RAN and then go from there. I'm sure it won't take you long to find out what you need for your report.

Seems like they had a very minimal participation in the Vietnam war. I remember the Aussie F-4 pilots that flew with the "Cobras" from Phu Cat Air Base when I was stationed there in 1969.  There were only a few of them and I remember them as "cool", flying the most dangerous missions alongside of the U.S. pilots.
