There were lots of reports about secret underground tunnels disguised to look like subways in Baghdad leading up to the war. I saw them on the front page, with speculative graphics, of reputable daily newspapers.

I see to be the only one that remembers that in the aftermath though. Maybe all the IEDs are stored underground in those tunnels and we are focusing above ground.

Oh yeah I remember now. Gullibility in the face of authority is just human I guess.

There are many reports about underground bases but no one has ever dared to make these public if true.
