  1. All I can tell you is that there is only one twin seater Spitfire in existence.  If you really do Fancy a ride, it will cost an arm and a leg, plus. you'll have to take your place in the queue.

For more information on it's owners and its availability, I'd suggest trying to contact any of the several aviation museums around the country.

  2. Don't pay any attention to the top contributors this time. Caroline Grace has a two seater but i'm not sure if it's for hire..you can always ask.

  3. It is exceptionally unlikely.  You  might contact the Commemorative Air Force and the Battle of Britain Flight (UK) to see if arrangements can be made.  Most likely not possible, though.

  4. The first answer is rubbish, there are several two seater Spitfires in existence.

The most famous of which is the Grace Spitfire and the last time I saw this aircraft it was being flown by it's owner Caroline Grace at Duxford Imperial war Museum.

There used to be a two seater at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre near Spilsby in Lincolnshire and it was flown by Sqn Ldr Paul Day ex Battle of Britain Memorial Flight but this aircraft is now hangered elsewhere.

I think you will be very lucky to arrange a flight in either of these aircraft.

  5. EXTREMELY unlikely for liability reasons if for no other.  With only one genuine 2-seater in existence-short of your Dad being a Battle of Britain veteran -probably not going to happen

  6. If you find out, PLEASE let me know!!!!!!
