  1. The version I heard goes like this -

Down Down Baby Down by the roller coaster

Sweet Sweet Baby I'll never let you go

    Sugar Sugar Sugar Pop

    Sugar Sugar Bang

    Sugar Sugar Sugar Pop

    Sugar Sugar Bang

We used to sing that while we jumped rope when I was a kid.

My favorite clapping song from childhood goes like this-

    C. C. My playmate.

Come out and play with me

    And bring your dollys three

    Climb up my apple tree

    Slide down my rain spout

    Into the celler door

    And we'll be Jolly friends

    Forever more

    More

    Shut the door

    Another one goes like this-

Ten monkeys jumping on the bed

One fell off and bumped his head

Mommy called the doctor and the doctor said

No more monkeys jumping on the bed

Nine monkeys jumping on the bed.......and so on and so on until you get down to one.

  2. My daughter's fav is "Sticky, sticky bubblegum" To start, you hold up your hands and wave them around and say "Sticky, sticky bubblegum. Sticky, sticky bubblegum. Stick it to your (nose, or whatever body part you choose) You put your hands where you named and pretend to try and pull it off as you say "And you pull, and you pull, and you" Then you throw your hands out and say "pull it off!" Then repeat with a different body part.

You should check out your local library and try to go to a story time for two year olds if you can. They have all kinds of songs that they sign with movements, and it is a lot easier to learn when you see someone do it.

  3. My two year old likes the chicken dance, the one they do at weddings.  Also, theres the "if youre happy and you know it clap your hands" song.  And of course, good old fashioned patty cake, but when you "throw it in the pan" tickle them, my 2 year old LOVES that!!!

  4. My son loves the head, shoulders, knees, and toes song.  He also likes I'm a little tea pot.

  9. I don't remember how that ends.  I remember my girls running around singing it all the time when they were younger, and not being real impressed with the words.  I finally insisted that they stop singing it.  (Maybe their friends made up different words.  Who knows?)

  10. I do not know, but that is an adorable and hilarious song for a little one!  Of course, there's always Patty Cake, and Little Bunny Foo Foo.  Google it.
