Does anyone know for sure if I will need a passport to come back from Tijuanna?

My wife and I are going tomorrow and we just heard that the new law is that you will need a passport to come back across the border. I have mine but she does not???

Any infor would be helpful

Why would you not? You're going to another country.

It is best if you have it, but it is not require.  You are only traveling on the ground and does not require passport to neighboring city.  If you are traveling by air or by sea, you will need your passport.

The only thing you need is your ID and birth certificate (I would make copy).
