Does anyone know for sure if there is going to be a new season of Inuyasha or maybe a movie 5??

I think hat there has to be as the story doesn't join ends and I've heard roomers but if someone has some actual proof pls tell me cause i can't stand not knowing what is gonna happen.. thanks a lot x*x

I keep hearing about a 5th Inuyasha movie but I don't know. Wish there was one but maybe not.

no there isn't going to be another season unless they do what full metal alchemist is doing (another series where the manga went on longer than the anime) if you want to finish off the story start reading the manga however it has a fairly sad ending (no spoiling from me)

No, as of 2006 in America, it stopped right in the middle due to it not being so popular in Japan and there wasn't enough money to raise it. The manga however is still going on, so if you still want to see what happens, read the manga.

AS for it coming back, unless some other popular anime creator in Japan decides to get off their butt and finish the series, i'm afraid it won't.

I really hope it did I loved Inuyasha, and it shoudln't have deserved to end like that. I can't believe it wasn't that popular. You'd think it being popular in other coutnries would keep it alive.

there are only 167 episodes. the series ended rather abruptly because the audience was losing interest. there are, however, 4 other movies (that are side stories and don't have much to do with the main plot line) and an OVA is coming out soon (i think it might already be out). the OVA came out as a tribute to the completion of the manga series. there have been many rumors circling around about a 5th movie or a new season, but they're mostly just fan rumors. there has been no official news for continuing the series. if you're really unhappy with the ending of the anime, you could always try picking up the manga. it was recently completely, so you don't have to worry about a bad ending.

No, there is no new inuyasha episodes planned at the moment there's is no 5th movie but there was a inuyasha short called "Black Tessaiga" that's was shown at the a exhibit called “Rumic World” that was on July 30th if your interested on the rest of the series past the anime i would recommend picking up the manga........i am a very big inuyasha fan and would love for the series to continue and hope this is a start to finish the anime.

No, there is not going to be a new season or a movie 5. Lots of people like  to spread the rumors, but the anime lost many viewers and lots of money, so they are not going to revive the series or make another movie. The series has been dead for 5 years now, and though the manga was really popular, the anime was not, and so there will be no more Inuyasha
