  3. Jefferson.

He should be required reading for any politician with an honesty impairment.

"Conscience [is] the only sure clue which will eternally guide a man clear of all doubts and inconsistencies." --Thomas Jefferson to George Washington, 1789

  4. NO!  Nobody in this world is squeaky clean, we all have our faults.  Besides power itself corrupts people, and so does money... two things that all politicians have... you do the math.

  5. I love how people have said Washington (owned slaves but felt so bad he waited until he died to set them free and postured himself to be nominated by his supporters to be the first president under the guise of not being worthy) or Abe Lincoln (who suspended habeas corpus during the Civil War) or JFK (who brought us to the brink of nuclear war and made several attempts at Castro's life)...I would refer you to the quote absolute power corrupts absolutely....now ask yourself your question again.

  6. Whoever that may be, he has not been born yet, and both his or her parents are dead.

  7. There are thousands.

You have to stop believing the press.

They are as honest as YOU.

  8. ANDREW JACKSON

Past US president. He destroyed the US bank--the main corruption at that time. But it's back... and it's the federal reserve!

  9. "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" starring James Stewart 1939. Nominated for 11 Academy Awards and won best screen play.

  10. Well Washington was the only President who didn't belong to a political party.  That may have helped.

  11. Washington

Lincoln I guess, but he did help kill Native Americans.

  12. I was just thinking today that Jimmy Carter was probably the most honest president with the highest integrity.

Its a shame how he gets slammed for it.

  13. Abe/

    JFK/

  14. ahhhhhhhhh ha ha haaaaaaa ahhhhhhhhh oh please stop i can't breath aaaaahhhhaaaa ha ha

  15. Ha!!!

I'll one up you and ask for one honest, truthful and trustworthy PERSON.

They are rare in any position.  More so if they have power of any kind.
