I am more of looking for a good master/teacher of martial arts. I would love to hear from someone who has taken classes from a great teacher of any type of martial art.

Please, if you know, do share : )

best location would be Bothell/KIrkland/Kenmore/Lynnwood and just near by areas.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Look into Rex Kwon Do. It worked wonders for me + they use the buddy system :)

  2. AMC kickboxing in Kirkland trains professional fighters (as well as everybody else).  I hear the quality of instruction is very good (stand-up and grappling).  If I remember right, it's 85th st exit off of I-405.

Rodney Lam teaches Wing Chun out of his home in Lynnwood, but the class I remember was T-Th 430 to 630 (he and his students mostly work for Boeing, and their shifts end at 3, thus the early class time.

For good Taichi and internal arts:

Google "Five willows taichi seattle". Their group has teachers in different places around the area.

Google "Andrew Dale" and "Dave Harris".

Their is a world class Iaido teacher in Lake City, use google to find him.

There is a Brazillian Ju-jitsu club in North Seattle on Aurora Ave, but AMC kickboxing is probably more convenient from Bothell (though traffic on 405 can be a b****)
