Does anyone know how Danity Kane got their name?

Like what does "Danity Kane"mean? When they're in interviews (well at least the ones I've seen) and people ask them that question, they never really answer the question.

  2. I've always wondered that! I was like, what the heck is "Danity Kane"?  But I'm guessing that it was one of Diddys genius ideas! LOL.

  3. It was on the show they were on in the begining. The tall African American woman (don't know her name) is the one who made it up. It was like a imaginary name she used to give herself growing up... she just blurted it out to the group and it stuck! ;)

    Reading the others I thnk it was her drawings... that's it!

  4. well i heard that one of the girls use to draw a lot and she always drew this female super hero named danity kane so they gave the group that name weird but yet different

Yes they have answered the question.  If you watched the showed when they were "making the band" no pun intended--lol.  The one chick from Louisiana--Dawn--yea that's her name likes to draw and doodle and one of her super hero characters is called Danity Kane.  Diddy came by and saw the drawing and fell in love with the name and decided on that to be the name of their group.  I honestly think the name is completely stupid and ugly and not befitting a girl group. Sounds like an old blues singer's name or something
