Does anyone know how I can find out my SSID?

I bought my xbox 360 just after christmas but only just got xbox live a week or two ago. After seeing how good it was, I decided that i was going to buy an xbox 360 wireless adapter so that i didn't have to have the my TV right next to the computer. After I bought it though I plugged it in and the light on the back was red. So I was looking through the network settings and it said edit settings. So after I clicked it, it came up with all these blank number spaces. I put in my IP address and all the other stuff but when it came to my SSID I could not find it out. I looked everywhere but nothing told me. So I decided to make an account on yahoo answers and ask. Please help!!!

The SSID is the identifier of the wireless network and is set by the wireless router, not the Xbox/Xbox 360.  Check the admin page for your wireless router.  The SSID and any security keys WEP/WPA etc. will be set there.  If you can't find it, your instruction booklet should have customer service information with email address, toll-free telephone number, etc.  A service rep should be able to tell oou the SSID or where to find it.
