  1. You can take the ferry from Auckland to Devonport and then there is a bus service to Leigh

    see http://www.aatravel.co.nz/about-newzeala...

  2. You can get public transport (bus) to Warkworth.  As I live at Snells Beach and work in Warkworth I would be happy to drive you to your destination.  You will need to let me know what day and time you would be arriving in Warkworth.   It is only about 20mins drive from Warkworth.

  3. omg i grew up there, how randum, you carn't get a train or bus,the only bus services go as far as waiwera, which is a good 40mins away, only option is renting a vehicle, getting a taxi or hitchhiking sorry

just thort id add,the person below me says you can get a bus to leigh, trust me i lived there for 22years, up until 4months ago,an you cannot get a bus.actually tho there is the intercity buses that travel daily to warkworth from akl, they drop you right outside the info centre,so from there you could book a taxi, from memory its bout $25 from warkworth township out to leigh

  4. Best option is to get a bus to Warkworth from Intercity buses or Naked Bus (the cheaper one usually http://www.nakedbus.com).

From there, you could either take a taxi, hitch a ride or something similar

  5. Check with your local travel agent.  I use House of Travel.
