  1. Hi. Try www.britishexpats.com and go to the discussions forums and then select the Australia forum. You will find a thread about emigrating to Australia there and you can ask all the questions u want.

They were really helpful when we emigrated to New Zealand 2 years ago.

    Hope it helps.

  2. 4 years old is a bit young to start working. I started working when I was 10 years old.

It's a bit tough to get into Australia these days, but they do have a long list of skilled workers needed - trade and professions

  3. Hi Lesley.  Ozmaniac is correct.  The immi.gov website has all the info you need.

    Good luck!

  4. Your options for moving permanently to Australia are extremely limited. Australia will only accept immigrants (from anywhere) who have skills and experience in short supply in our country. You will need to have an in demand skill or occupation and you must also pass a points test. For all information relating to visas, required skills and the points test, go to: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/index.htm

This is the official government website and it contains everything you will need to know in a very easy to access format.

  5. unless your a skilled worker in an occupation that Australia needs your chances are slim.

there is a point system test you must pass to qualify

  6. hi

you have to be a skilled person which is in demand in australia. or you could apply with your degree, preferably a good one.

they have point system to assess and if you reach the required mark you go to next stage. like your degree, if you have relation in there, work experience, english level(you are an english-so no problem), state sponsorship etc.

assuming you are qualified, it is all about the correct paperwork. you could use a registered migration agent in your country. let them do the application for you.

for example in south australia they provide you on arrival services for you to settle down there. all sorts advise and some assistance.

they offer financial assistance for qualified migrants. check on it.

    good luck

  7. If your daughter doesnt want to go then you should reconsider, for your daughters sake
