Does anyone know how I would be able to travel by tour bus from San Diego, CA to La Paz, Baja?

I am planning a trip for around this time next year (May-June 2009). The dates are flexible. I live in the Bay Area in Northern California and will be able to get to San Diego just fine. It's once I enter Mexico when I will need some advice. I would like to travel from San Diego to the bottom of the Baja peninsula by tour bus and was wondering if anyone who knows the area well would be able to help me. Thank you for your time!

Hola.  I live in Cabo and have driven this road many times.  There are several bus companies that go from Tijuana to Cabo regularly, but they don't stop at any of the towns for touristy things.  They are all business and will get you from point A to point B.  They do the trip in about 24 hours.  The bus stops offer good food, the seats are comfortable, and the mexican tv is usually blaring and drapes to block out hot sun, most are airconditioned.  The people who take the bus are a mix, most are locals that are either heading home or heading back to work.  

This option isn't a very good way to see the baja.  You are better off to rent a vehicle and drive it yourself.  Stopping along the way at the many sites and enjoying the locals.
