Marie Callenders is a good, wholesome, family restaurant with a nice selection. They're pies  are ver good. I live in Minneapolis, and the only location here(in the southern suburb of Burnsville)closed years ago. I also use to eat at the one in Camarillo,CA where I used to live. Since I haven't been to one in over five years, I'm not sure what the prices are now. But they were reasonable when I went.

I was not aware that there were any Marie Callender restaurants.  I only new about the frozen meals in grocery stores.  Interesting.

I don't like them much.  The food and atmosphere are both disappointing.

The food was good, but it was over priced. I can't remember what I paid, just that I didn't feel it was worth that much. Its not even like you are paying for a fancy atmosphere (it was a pretty plain looking restaraunt with standard service).

I love Marie Callender's its really good to me and not expensive at all. The cornbread is really tasty and I always get the chili, they also have good lasagna.

honestly its okay, its blah kind of food. The pies are awesome though!

It's hit or miss there.  They have some things there that are pretty good; but some things there are pretty bad.

Obviously their pies are the highlight.

I'd say it's a bit pricier than Coco's  or Carrow's.  But it's not like a really fancy restaurant or anything like that.

Marie Callendar actually was a real woman who started her business selling pies to people door to door.  She died a few years back...

Can you imagine if anyone tried to do that today?  What would you say to someone who tried to sell you a homemade pie at your door?
