  1. Very very big, I Have been three times and still haven't seen everthing.  On day get all the biggest things to see, probably a week to see everthing, probably a month if you want to appreciate everthing.

  2. I just went there over last summer in July, and the louvre is very very big and very fascinating...I'd definatly suggest seeing it if I were you.

  3. It is very big. If you want to see whole of the louvre you must go to louvre at least two complete days. from 10 to 18.

Have a nice time in the louvre. It is fabulous.

  4. The answer may seem strange but the fact is that nobody knows the exact floorspace of the Louvre.

While many sources say its the largest or second largest art museum in the world, the best they can do is estimate from the general foot print of the building that it is between 2 and 3 million square feet.

Remember this is structure was begun in 1535 and has been added to and rearranged many, many times up to the latest changes centering around the glass pyramid designed by I.M.Pei.

Short of walking its miles of corridors and going over every room, hallway, and broom closet with a measuring tape there is no way to figure it out.

  5. its huge i will just go get the book might have the floor space in it wont be a tick sorry just says it got over 600 paintings when i went it took us most of the day and we did not see all of it
