Does anyone know how far Le Meridien hotel in Cancun, MX is to the actual tourist/party area of Cancun?

The 'Zona Hotelera' is in fact a long stretch of different hotels pretty much smacked together. As long as your hotel is in 'zona hoterlera' it will be in the tourist/party area of Cancun. There are bus stops along the stretch that will take you from your hotel to any place that you wish to go ie. if you wish to go to 'Bongo' disco then get off at the bus stop thats closest to it.

i stayed at this hotel in january. it is about 5 KM from the party area. easy bus ride to anywhere which costs 65 pesos. to party area it is about 5 minutes on bus. hotel is very nice, spa is great, super pool, but beach is very narrow due to storms. if staying here, be sure to eat at puerto madero which is right across the road. incredible steakhouse. also, grill 14 is a great restaurant. overall it is a very good location. enjoy!
