Does anyone know how i can get an idea for a video game to become one?

Question

You see i think someone should make a superhero game where you can create your own hero and play through missions and stuff like that. But unlike city of heroes.i think it could be portable.

I can understand why you'd like to see that....but I'm afraid you're not going to see a game with the complexity of character creation, gameplay, and interaction on a portable platform, with current technology. Just my opinion. I play CoH on my laptop......so I'm "portable...." sort of. :)

Er, I think they made something like that for the DS

I think it was called "Drawn to Life' or something?

Only way to do this is to get into the business. You could always come up with concepts and artwork on your own and find people to help you make the other assets, but it's a long and potentially expensive process. Oh, then there's the issue of getting it published.

I'd still hang on to ideas like yours though and flesh them out. Never know if it could come in handy one day.

Also, have you heard about DC Universe Online? (I haven't really read up on it, but it might be different than City of Heroes.)
