Does anyone know how i can possibly...?

Question

start studying some kinda of video games programming? i'm planning going to apply to my local college but i don't know where to start? i have quite a lot of computer knowledge but when it come to what i'm wanting to do as a career i really haven't got a clue about where to go or what to do??... lol

Look in magasines like EDGE etc i know they have done articles on getting noticed. Qualifications aren't everything I have read about computer companies complaining about the IT graduates who though they have an understanding of the bigger picture once they are employed they have to train them again anyway to use the language/package/system. Try to develop a mini game, something simple to show off you skills. Read lots!

Go to an art college there specialise in media studies.

Have a look at various education centres. I live in Oxford UK and we recently had an adult education leaflet through the door with a couple of video games programming courses on it x
