Length in time or yards?  The time would depend on number of players and course difficulty, but would be roughly 1-1/2 - 2 hrs.  Yards vary from course to course (5000-7500 for 18).  The front or back nine would be roughly half of that.

It shouldn't take more than 2 hours to play nine holes.  It depends on how many players you have to calculate how long from the first one to tee off to the last one to finish.

Thats a loaded question.  Depends if your course is all par 3's or if it is a true 9 hole (par 36).  It will also depend on how many teams you have and format.  I would expect between 1:45-2:30 depending on the format and number of teams.

If this is a regulation course (6-7K yards) and you are only doing like a front/back nine it can take anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours depending on where you play.  In Southern CA you will be lucky to get 9 holes done in less than 2.5 horus.  Also depends on how good/bad the groups are in your tourney.  my best estimate would be 2.5 hours of course golfing (in So. Cal)
