  1. Never - you are screwed

  2. 7-10 yrs.... Recommed paying them what you know them and getting it in writing that this has been cleared.  This is califorinia state law find out what the laws are in your state, they do differ for each state.

Your housing athority should have a copy of your tenant rights, I do reccomend getting a copy and reading it. This is the wonderful thing about where we are we have the right to know but you are the one that has to put your foot forward.

    knowledge is power use it!

  3. Bringing it to light to a future landlord before they find it does help.  A letter from the landlord that evicted you explaining also can only help if he or she will give you a letter of explaination (such as "management chose to evict because one tenant broke the lease, which was too much for the other lease holders to maintain").  You can always have a dispute report added to your bureaus too, it doesn't remove it though, just adds an explanation.  The length of time on a report varies from state to state, so I would look in the blue pages of your phone book for your local housing authority.

  4. SUFI CON....  not long.   been to fearlessradio.com ???  I am pain there on PEACE AND PIPEDREAMS and we need help promoting our little show.  I will tell you the answer to you eviction question after I do some research.

  5. If you are speaking of your credit report, things like that are generally on the report for 3 1/2 years (1/2 the time of something major like bankrupcy).
