My husband's immigrant visa case is completed and we are just waiting an interview appointment with the US Embassy in Amman Jordan. Anyone know how long this takes.

  1. Wait time for a non-immigrant visa interview appointment is about 13 days.  However, the immigrant visa interviews are handled slightly differently.  You really should be asking the Immigrant Visa Section at the embassy:

"The Consular Section, in order to better serve all parties, requires that public inquiries be received in the following manner. Your cooperation is appreciated."

  2. It should be very soon however, just because USCIS finished the investigation doesn't mean he will receive the visa. It was either done in Egypt or Athens. He is a male and Jordanian, good luck! Not to many visa's make it from there. Qatar,UAE,Bahrain, Kuwait would have been a better avenue for him.
