Does anyone know how many people in total can get speedy boarding for a flight?

  1. I don't think there is a limit.  All Easyjet say is that you'll be called first, and their market research suggests that only a certain percentage of people are stupid enough to pay for this service, so on a particular flight there won't be a limit.

    I really don't understand speedy boarding.  The only differences are that you'll be standing around for about 3 minutes less than everyone else and have (slightly) more choice in seats when you board.

This is a new one on me.  So, some airlines are offering this now??   Don't really understand why anyone whould pay for this service.  If you want to be guaranteed overhead bin space, just elect to be seated in the back rows for most airlines, as they board first (after First Class).   Never did understand why so many people were so anxious to get on the airplane just to sit and wait for 30 minutes until everyone else boarded.  I'd rather wait in the terminal and board almost last.   It would be pretty funny if they sold this service to as many people who would buy it.

  3. I would suggest no more than 25% otherwise it doesn't make it worthwile paying the extra!
