?? the above answers surprise me really, cause im pretty sure they get paid quite alot.

Many singers and stars under SM do get paid like c**p, but DBSK is a incredibly famous boyband. They have leverage as they bring home most of the bacon for SM. (other than Boa..)

It is a fact that SM takes a VERY LARGE percentage of the profits made from, cds, concerts etc. But by the sheer number of activities that they do in both Japan and Korea, they're pretty well off.

... oh and did i mention they have a really crazy fan base that would murder Lee Soo Man if he treated the boys badly?

well even if they get paid c**p like someone says...

korean fans are the best fans i think. they are really crazy

and they also provide their stars with alot of things..and send them stuff like mp3s, money, clothes, etc.

i heard that they don't get paid much. esp those groups with quite a few people....i heard that that's why many korean bands have to disband. think United N-Generation, Seckskies, BabyVox etc. i'm not sure though, that's what i hear from my korean friends.
