diffrent contract deals better you are ..the more you can make...dnt ask for a share of anything if your running 35th everyweek...unless your say  robby gordon or mike waltrip,

they onw there own teams so they get  the owner cut too..like being your own bussiness man...

under the column "winnings" is how much the team has earned for the year...but the percentage of what the driver gets from that amount is usually confidential. (a driver like Jeff Gordon gets paid more than someone like David Gilliland)

the drivers also gets a cut of souvenir sales, and they get paid for endorsements from their sponsors...all in all they make millions.

Nobody can really answer that question for you.  Each team has different contracts, big sponsor money, small sponsor money, and money for wherever they finish in the race.

it just depends.

the better they race the more they make.

Kasey Kahne won $260,866 from winning the last race.

last year Jimmie won about 7.3 million from winning the championship.

so far this year Kyle Busch has made $3,090,312

& someone that hasn't done so well...such as

Casey Mears has made $1,520,120

(those are just race winnings....so they dont' include merchandise & all other forms of getting money)
