Does anyone know how much it costs to renew your registration on your car?

I am late on this because I never got the notice in the mail. I've never been late before so I didn't know if there is a late fee.

Also, do you know what info I'll need since I have gotten no paperwork in the mail!!! Thanks!

you can go to the DMV website or call them. you can simply take the old registration to the DMV and they'll renew it for you.

States vary in their laws, contact your states DMV website, you should be able to enter your plate number and get a quote on what your fees will be. If you live in an area where emission testing is required, you'll need to provide proof of that. Again, states vary, so the DMV website is your best best. To be sure you always get info from the DMV in the mail, you must keep your address with them up to date, they only mail to the address on record, regardless of how many times you have moved. If you don't notify them, it will go to the last known address and will not be forwarded.
