  1. Chinese - Superbowl in Goulburn St

    Indian - Janani at Homebush

Seafood - the fish markets (which are NOT at the end of Dixon St, but rather in Pyrmont, near Anzac Bridge)

For Italian - Stanly Street and Crown Street Darlinghurst - Bar Reggios is good

  2. probably not. say $10 for one of those really big breakfasts that fill up 2 people.and depending on where ur dining.. fish and chips or a fancy resturant. go 2 diners inner west. their cheaper but still good

in chinatown theres a resturaunt called shanghai tang in market city. level 3. really good

  3. depends on the food quantity

  4. McDonald's and pie shops are as budget as you get. $5-$6 for a meal.

  5. There are usually specials at most places. You can get meals for $10 and under.. as chinese places and take out places.

Where abouts in Sydney are you planning to eat at? Prices are different everywhere.

  6. theres some pretty good asian shops at kingston, maroubra, randwick ($7 for 3 choices of food, with rice) so, try there and have a look around.

  7. yes $15-$20 a day is enough for 1 person.

alot of the cheap restuarants are chinese. you can find alot in chinatown wich is really close the the sydney cbd. you can have a dinner for 2 people with 3 big dishes to share for around $40. so if youre with other people this would be a great idea as itd end up being about $10 pp.

you can share 1 big dish between 2 ppl & 1 dish is normally $15.

alot of chinese or asian food fast food resturants (these are the ones that are in malls and shopping centres where they just have a little shops for you to get quick takeout so they rnt resturants resturants if you know what i mean. they are more like stalls. hard to explain.

these kind of asian food stores give u a big container of chicken with rice or seafood with rice for $7-8 & thats enough for 1 person's dinner and sometimes have some leftover for the next day. they let you pick anything you like out of a selection and if you dont want to chose steamed rice with it they give you noodles or fried rice instead.

if you like sushi for lunch there are alot of sushi places around thats $2-3 per sushi roll. normally i'd eat 2 rolls 4 lunch and that would keep u full.

theres also heaps of other fast food options.

pizza is about $10-20 depending on quality and wich company. if you want the gourmet real italian pizzas the large ones are about $20.large pizza's are 8 slices. wich for me a female.. would last me 3 meals. (the whole day)

pasta dishes are about $20 too.
