Does anyone know how much you get paid for egg donation in Utah?

  1. There are federal laws that forbid the selling of body parts. All body organs have to be donated, and you can recover only a fee to cover you time and trouble.

    However, there are exceptions for blood, sperm and eggs.   I do know males can sell sperm, so females should be able to sell their eggs, but it's more difficult to retrieve.  

    It may take minor surgery, shouldn't take longer than a couple hrs of time.  All surgery, whether major or minor risks infection, and some other reactions to pain killers.

    You have to have a complete medical check up, including a DNA check to make sure your eggs will not be carrying any potential diseases, that are carried on DNA markers.  For example, if cancer or diabetes run in your family, you likely will be disqualified.

    You should consult a doctor for all the details, and what fees are paid for your donation, if you qualify.
