  1. It is based on what you were making at your previous job. When I was on it I got very little, 1/4 of what I made at my job.  You have to be looking for work while receiving the checks and I got audited and had to prove i was looking for work so it does happen!


  2. Check with the State employment agency in your city... It really depends on your past employment.

  3. Depends on your state, on what you were making, and sometimes on how many dependents you have - it's usually somewhere around half of what you were making.

  6. It depends on two things.  Your state, and your previous salary.  No one can answer you accurately without that information.

  7. some kind of formula i suspect depends on where you live i got only $220 a week when i got unemployment which is about a third of gross pay or closer to half net pay. its aslo a pain in the...butt to get and to keep and the indian givers that gave it to me decided 6 months latter that i didn't deserve it so they just declared i owe them $1000!
