Does anyone know how old you have to be to works at einsteins bros. bagels??

i want to work there over the summer but i need to know how old you have to be.

The age is 14 and you need to fill out some form for the labor department.  And regarding the number of hours, during the summer that does not really apply.  Its when school is in session that they cannot give over x number of hours and you cannot work beyond certain time.

Now some states will say 15 or 16.  You have to take what is best for the child.  Since you didnt list you state I cant tell you the age you have to be.  Federal is 14.  If you state says 16 you have to be 16.  Its the higher of the 2.  Most states follow federal guidelines.  But you can work at 14.  Now some companies will require a license to work, if your state wont give you one and you are under 16 the Federal Government will give you one.

If your company requires a work permit...  The Federal Government doesnt require them.  But if your state doesnt provide them the Feds will give you one.  This is the site you will need.

Thats your link.  Again have a great summer.  But you can work at 14.  Check what you cant do.  16 and below.  Im not sure if they would consider you being a cook if you were dealing with boiling oil to cook the bagels.  But maybe you are just the one that serves them up.  Or cooking them ect.  I dont see an issue if you are just putting them together.  But I dont think you could get near the kitchen cooking them.  That would be the only question.  That is the list of what you cant do until you are 16.  Other then that you are good.
