  1. Yes Perez is a Bible name it is found spelled Perez in the Modern Day English Bible the Berkely Version which translated out of the Hebrew and Greek languages. Different spellings for it like Pharez but whether it is spelled Perez or Pharez it is a Hebrew name.


    Judah was the father of Perez.


    Some might argue that it is only a Spanish name and many times some just hate the idea that one is a Jew who isn't white.


    Israel is ethnic. Of course one can any race or ehtnic and be of Jewish descent simply because God said he would scatter Israel among the nations. God didn't do this as a blessing he did this as a judgment on Israel for all their sin and disobedience to them.
